Chicken Biryani Recipe: Step-by-Step Guide to Make the Perfect Dish at Home

-  πŸ‘‰1 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

Step 1: Marinate the chicken Clean the chicken and cut it into medium-sized pieces. In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chilies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garam masala, turmeric, chili powder, and salt. Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and mix well. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Step 2: Prepare the rice Wash the rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Soak the rice in cold water for 20 minutes. In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to boil. Add the rice, salt, and stir. Cook the rice for 5-6 minutes, until it is partially cooked. Drain the rice and set it aside.
